Wayne Hathaway is a photographer and author who lives and shoots in Lincoln, Nebraska. We have created an online home to showcase his amazing photographic talent.

Phase 1 went live September 3rd. Phase 2 will include an expanded selection of images and items to purchase online. Wayne also has a new children’s book that is going to print very soon.

It’s official! Hampton Photography is finally up and running. Whew!! I asked a lot of Brett and Randy when I requested samples for the portfolio galleries. How to choose? Choose they did… and aren’t the photos wonderful?

New business cards… and a new adventure!

2010 has brought some challenges to our little web studio.  Challenges we hope to replace with grand adventures.  (Trying to implement a little positive thinkin’ stuff, you know…)

Our first adventure has been a business re-tool of sorts.  As many of you know, I married into a family of photographers. My husband and his father are both professional photographers and photojournalists.  We’ve decided to combine our gifts of imagery and design and join forces under a common brand Photography Design Studio or PDSLINCOLN.

PDSLINCOLN will consist of four areas.

Hampton Photography will allow Brett and Randy to share their 50+ years of photography experience with you through their professional and personal photography services. Keep an eye out for their new website. You’ll see it here first!

Digital Camera Workshops are designed to take your photography to the next level. Small hands-on workshops ensure personal attention to every student.

Photography Design Studio is a quiet, intimate perfect for any photography project when you need the control and privacy of a professional photography studio.

And of course, LoneDaisy Media will provide webdesign and digital marketing expertise. Websites are being created as we speak. The business cards are already here. Take a peek at what I’ve been up to!

Crash and Burn…

Well, I guess it happens to all of us sooner or later.  Updating your website — monkeying with the code and BAM!  Something’s not right. Well, how about I try this? Nope. And you realize it’s dead.  Upload…   Reinstall… import backups?

Or just start fresh?   There’s something refreshing about a clean start.  A July 1st implementation to take you through the rest of the year. Or maybe it’s just a designer’s rationalization about making things right.  About making things the way she thinks they should be.

Well, whatever the case — here’s to a fresh beginning.  Bring on the rest of 2010!

Should I or Shouldn’t I??

“Should I or shouldn’t I?” Start a blog, that is.

Seems like everyone has one. Do I want to be like “everyone”? Aren’t folks suppose to stand out from the crowd? Wasn’t it something about not doing what your friends do? Peer pressure. Lemming.

However, open up any of today’s “Success” literature and it’s there. The secret to being “successful” is to act successful and you will be successful. Do what successful people do. Follow the “right” crowd and you will be what they are.

And so, I’ve decided to add my voice to the crowd. Mostly to hear, but sometimes to be heard.
